This
is a complete Edwards Active vacuum gauge package including cold
cathode and Pirani gauge tubes. Our price: $1300 This is an Edwards Active Gauge Controller (AGC) vacuum gauge package with one inverted magnetron cold cathode gauge and one Pirani gauge - complete and ready to be put to use. As received by us, the controller was in the original factory box bearing the same serial number. It is in excellent cosmetic condition, showing only a few very light cosmetic marks from handling. Although we have shown it here as part of the explanation of the condition of the controller, the original box for the controller willl NOT be shipped with this vacuum gauge package. The controller will be individually wrapped in bubble wrap, then packed in a significantly larger box with the gauges and cables. As received by us, the cold cathode gauge and Pirani gauge were not in original Edwards packaging, but had Edwards protective plastic caps on the vacuum flanges, and were accompanied by the original printed manuals. The flange sealing surfaces and the interior surfaces of the gauges appear to be very clean. The plastic housing of the cold cathode gauge shows some minor scuffs and scratches from handling. From the way the packages were labeled, these gauges appeared to be unused spares from a semiconductor fabrication facility. The gauge cables are new. They are not original Edwards cables, but commercially available Category 5e patch cable assemblies with strain relieved connectors. This package was tested on a clean, turbomolecular pumped high vacuum system, with no problems observed. During this testing, the cold cathode gauge was not operated for extended periods of time, and was not ignited until after the system had been brought down to the low 10-5 torr regime. Readings from the Pirani gauge correlated nicely with those from a "known good" Pirani gauge operated simultaneously on that system. Controller:
